ABOUT ME
Since 2009, I have been involved in some form in haunted house attractions or event planning. From helping plan a layout and construct an attraction, to touring the state with a group of fellow haunt actors to provide entertainment and promote local attractions, to co-chairing and organizing an independent horror film festival; I've loved it all! I was able to help screen films for, determine the theme (keep horror alive), attend and assist with running the October, 2015 Virginia Independent Horror Film Festival. The festival was a success, as there were three days of films and shirts able to be shown, directors attended, and fans were able to interact with everyone present. The event went off without a hitch for those attending, and had something to offer every fan of the genre- film wise and even burlesque wise. Leslie was able to run the festival with those involved, and did so with extreme professionalism. She made sure certain films and shorts were shown one after another, allowed for meet and greets, and ensured even the vendors matched the theme. I would definitely work this event again and attend if it were to happen. It was a wonderful way to celebrate those working hard in the horror field in Virginia and surrounding states, and she made sure everyone felt welcomed and like family.
